About the Position

Looking for a dynamic, driven individual to join our team as a purchasing professional at a leading life sciences company!

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and services critical to our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including research and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials at optimal costs.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management. Experience in the life sciences industry is preferred, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source and procure materials and services for the company
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance to improve supplier quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
  • Experience in the life sciences industry is preferred, but not required
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
