Descripción general del producto
El conservante de orina de Norgen está diseñado para la conservación rápida de ADN, ARN, microARN y proteínas de muestras de orina fresca. El conservante de orina impide el crecimiento de bacterias y hongos gramnegativos y grampositivos, y también inactiva los virus, lo que permite manipular y enviar con seguridad las muestras no infecciosas resultantes. Además, el conservante de orina elimina la necesidad de procesar o congelar inmediatamente las muestras y permite enviarlas a instalaciones de análisis centralizadas a temperatura ambiente. Los componentes del conservante de orina permiten almacenar las muestras durante más de 2 años a temperatura ambiente sin que se detecte degradación del ADN, ARN o proteínas de la orina.
El conservante de orina de Norgen está disponible en 2 cómodos formatos:
1. Conservante de orina en ampollas monodosis
Con este producto, el conservante de orina de Norgen se suministra en formato líquido en ampollas monodosis. El usuario simplemente recoge 5 - 50 mL de orina en un recipiente de recogida de orina y añade el contenido del Conservante de Orina Monodosis (Cat# 18126). A continuación, se mezclan la orina y el conservante, y los ácidos nucleicos y las proteínas de la orina se conservan a temperatura ambiente.
2. Tubos de recogida y conservación de orina
El conservante de orina de Norgen también está disponible en formato seco en los tubos de recogida y conservación de orina de Norgen. El usuario simplemente recoge la orina en los tubos y la mezcla suavemente hasta que se haya disuelto el gránulo de conservante naranja del tubo. Los tubos de recogida y conservación de orina de Norgen están disponibles en 3 cómodos tamaños:
- Tubos de 5 cc, 1 - 5 mL de orina
- Tubos de 15 cc, 5 - 15 mL de orina
- Tubos de 50 cc, 5 - 45 mL de orina
- Vaso de 120 cc, 100 - 120 mL de orina

Condiciones de almacenamiento y estabilidad del producto
Todos los tubos deben conservarse herméticamente cerrados y almacenados a temperatura ambiente (15 - 25°C) hasta 1 año sin que disminuya su rendimiento.
