ProteoSpin™ Urine Protein Concentration Micro Kit

This kit concentrates dilute solutions of proteins from small volumes of urine using a rapid and convenient spin column. This kit simultaneously removes salts while concentrating dilute urine proteins ready for downstream proteomic applications including SDS-PAGE, 2D Gels, MALDI-TOF, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS, whole protein mass spectrometry and protein microarrays. Since there is no molecular weight cutoff with this spin column all sizes of proteins can be concentrated and desalted. Twelve samples can be processed in 20 minutes. Urine protein analysis can also be used for the identification of potential biomarkers in urine, and to diagnose and/or monitor renal and other disease. This kit is also available in a 96-well format for high throughput applications.
